What Women Hold

What Women Hold is an exclusive portrait project inspired by Maira Kalman’s art book, Women Holding Things, exploring the complex relationships between women and the objects (or people) they hold, literally and figuratively.

Each intimate portrait will capture a moment of quiet strength and vulnerability, where everyday objects become symbols of personal identity and shared experience.

Limited to only 20 women, the project invites participants to reflect on their unique stories while being part of a larger narrative that celebrates resilience, femininity, and the power of holding on.

This experience offers a rare opportunity to reflect on and explore the intersection of art, identity, and the objects that define us.
